For over 10 years, Mrs. Bansmer has been practicing law and providing legal services in the areas of Divorce and Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, Estate Planning, and Criminal Defense. She has a degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of California-Davis.
She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She strives towards excellence and continuously works toward expanding her knowledge and experience in the legal field.
Elizabeth Stephens is an associate attorney at Bansmer Law who was born and raised in the Central Valley. She has a B.A. from San Francisco State University, with a specialization in Communications and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University’s School of Law with further specializations in Public Interest and Environmental Law.
Ms. Stephens is also a member of the San Joaquin County Bar Association and the Callahan Inn of Court.
Amanda began working for Erica Bansmer in 2009 as a legal secretary and has since advanced to the position of Office Manager. She assists the attorney and her staff with the overall support of office needs.
Amanda handles client billing and responds to all client inquiries pertaining to our services. She has a strong background in customer service and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction with the clients.
Katie has a background in tax preparation and earned an associate degree in Paralegal Studies. Before joining our staff, Katie had experience in guardianship and elder abuse matters.
Katie has now been working in family law for over three years. She assists the attorneys with drafting court documents and corresponding and maintaining communication with our clients. She also assists in training the staff in case management and client relations.
Jenell Garcia, a native of San Joaquin County, has worked for Mrs. Bansmer for the past 2 years as a Legal Secretary.
She is solely responsible for case file management and plays a large role in ensuring the attorney files are organized and up to date.
